Deep into Linux and Beyond

I will make a book of notes regarding:

• Catch up with latest development of Linux
• Compare with Mac OS X, Android, and ChromeOS
• Conference and academic papers.

The objective is to clarify the confusing subsystems of Linux kernel, explain the major developments in new areas and explore the future trends.

I found the Gustavo Duarte's blog http://duartes.org/gustavo/blog/ is very intuitive with plain language and good diagrams. So I used them for overview of relevant area.

Other stuff are from kernel documentation, the conference papers and my source code reading of kernel.
